I hope that the majority continue to be inconsistent!
I was watching a “Head to Head” conversation (sponsored by Oxford University) between Richard Dawkins and the Muslim interviewer.
Dawkins said that Islam teaches that apostates from Islam should be killed. The interviewer said that this was not true. The interviewer was guilty of, as Churchill would have said, a terminological inexactitude. As we know, in many Muslim countries apostasy is punishable by death. As you say, we hope other Muslim countries remain inconsistent.
